Dhonia was opened in 2005 to provide you with the finest Indian cuisine. Dhonia is one of the most popular herbs used by Asian countries. The word Dhonia is a translation of coriander. Dhonia has a unique fragrance which adds to the flavour of our curries, not only do we use coriander leafs but we also use coriander seeds to add extra flavour to our curries. Coriander leafs are added on before serving to keep its rich fragrance. Acclaimed favourites include Lamb or Chicken Rogan Josh and Balti and Lamb pasanda, a dish that has been greatly imitated by other establishments across the Capital. We are located at Tollington Park near Finsbury Park . You can take 29 Bus to Wells terrace which is 7 minutes walk from Dhonia restaurant. The nearest tube station is Finsbury Park ; you can take the Central or Piccadilly line. The main restaurant seats 36 and is available for private events by appointment whilst the Bedouin style cocktail bar can host private drinks parties for up to 25 guests. Dhonia can cook any dishes of your choice that is not included in the menu; our dishes do no contain any artificial colouring. Dhonia has recently been refurbished to meet the needs of our customers.
